Section 2: Remanufactured Automotive Computers

Thank you for choosing velectronix.com for your remanufactured Engine Control Unit (ECU) needs. We provide high-quality remanufactured ECUs with the following warranty, core return, and return policies.

Warranty
Duration: Each remanufactured ECU comes with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

Coverage: The warranty provides a one-time repair or replacement of the ECU at our discretion. If a replacement is provided, the warranty is fulfilled and terminates, with no further coverage for the original or replacement ECU. This prevents repeated claims.

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage due to:
Improper installation or use

Accidents, water, fire, or natural disasters

Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering with security seals

Incompatible or faulty vehicle components

Failure to comply with core return requirements

Warranty Activation Requirements: To activate the warranty, you must:
Provide a valid sales invoice as proof of purchase.

Return the core within 30 days of receiving the remanufactured ECU, with proof of core delivery (e.g., tracking number or carrier delivery confirmation).

Provide documentation of professional installation (e.g., receipt from a licensed mechanic).

Warranty Claim Process:

Return the defective ECU at your expense to the address provided in the RMA instructions (continental U.S. or international).

We will inspect the ECU within 8-15 business days. If approved, we will process a one-time repair or replacement. You are responsible for all shipping costs, including return of the defective ECU and delivery of the replacement unit.

Non-Approved Claims: If a claim is denied, you may request the ECU be returned to you at a cost of $30 or recycled. Unclaimed items are recycled after 14 days.

Core Return Policy
Requirement: You must return the core within 30 days of receiving your remanufactured ECU.

Proof of Delivery: You must submit proof of core delivery (e.g., tracking number or carrier confirmation) to VegterAuto@gmail.com within 30 days. Failure to provide proof may forfeit the core charge refund and warranty activation.

Core Condition: The core must:
Match the purchased ECU’s part number.

Be free of catastrophic damage (e.g., cracked casing, burned circuits, water damage).

Non-rebuildable cores may result in partial or no refund of the core charge.

Shipping: You are responsible for all shipping costs to return the core to the address provided (continental U.S. or international). Customers must securely package the core to prevent transit damage.

Processing: Core charge refunds are processed within 7-10 business days of receiving and inspecting the core, provided proof of delivery is submitted.

Return Policy
30-Day Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for defective or incorrect ECUs only. Non-defective products are not returnable.

Eligibility: Returned ECUs must be:
In original packaging, unused, and in like-new condition.

Accompanied by all accessories, documentation, and the sales invoice.
